I was looking for a place for my in-laws to stay overnight before continuing on an international flight from Houston. This place fit the bill. They liked the included hi-speed internet access and the proximity to the hotel. They thought to was a good place to stay and a good value.

My friend and I stayed there one night. We were looking for a place with a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. We arrived only to discover that both the pool and jacuzzi weren't working....We found cockroaches in our room and killed several of them....We found lipstick on our pillows and pillow covers....The carpet was dirty and not even vacuumed...and the list goes on....Never again!!!!

Stayed there 4 nights in October, 2008, while attending a meeting in downtown Houston because there were no rooms at a reasonable rate downtown. Most staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly. I needed transport to and from the airport daily to catch the express bus to downtown, which runs every half hour. The bus left 10 minutes after the scheduled shuttle departure from the Inn. Two of the drivers went out of their way to get me there in time. One did not. The room was clean and remarkably quiet, given the Inn's location only a few miles from the airport.

Disapointing experience all around. Very basic hotel with poor service ! We needed a 5:30 a.m. wake-up call in order to catch a flight, and DID NOT receive the calls in either of our two rooms ! Paid $15 to leave our car for 3 days, and waited at least 45 minutes to be picked up at the airport when we returned to Houston, We had to call two more times in order to be picked up, and then discovered our calls were never given to the driver !

I don't often choose to stay in $44/night hotels but the airlines put me up there. Sheets didn't cover the bed entirely, sink had rust in it, and the Internet wasn't free as they advertise on their web site. Restaurant next door (Kettle) wasn't worth entering. And it came with room service-- a leftover burrito in the refrigerator. Desk staff were nice enough and the shuttle ran on time. If they raise the rate to $50/night and buy sheets and pay the cleaners a bit more, it would have been okay for a layover.
